The Fertiliser Advisers Certification & Training Scheme, known as FACTS, is independent and non-statutory. It is recognised by the Fertiliser Industry, Defra and the Environment Agency as a successful means of setting standards, training and accrediting the continuous professional development of those providing nutrient management advice.
With pressure to promote catchment sensitive farming, FACTS has a leading role to maximise production in ensuring that advice delivered to farmers and growers is both up-to-date technically and in terms of what needs to be done to protect the environment.
Information regarding the FACTS courses, plus details of training providers and current exam dates can be found below. Alternatively if you require any further information, please do not hesitate to email Sue Mason or Tracey Harrison or call on 01335 340856/7.
