The code of Practice for Suppliers to Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry (Yellow Code)

This is the Code of Practice which the BASIS Scheme operates to. The standards required in the BASIS Scheme are taken from various parts of this Code.

It is a legal requirement for professional pesticide stores holding over 200lts/kgs to be under the supervision of a qualified Nominated Storekeeper: Storekeeper Training. Further details can also be found under the training section of this website.

Fire Risk Assessment - This document is designed to help pesticide stores comply with the Regulatory (Fire Safety Order) 2005. This document carries a charge and is available on request.
