The Code of Practice for Suppliers to Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry (Yellow Code)
This is the Statutory Code of Practice to which the BASIS Scheme operates. The standards required in the BASIS Scheme are taken from various parts of this Code.

It is a legal requirement for professional pesticide stores holding over 200lts/kgs to be under the supervision of a qualified Nominated Storekeeper: Further details can be found under the training section of this website. Changes arising from the Sustainable Use Directive may take away the 200lt/kg threshold and all those storing professional products may need to be NSK trained.
