The Nominated Storekeeper Training Course or the Nominated Storekeeper Refresher Training Course
enables nominated storekeepers to meet the standards of pesticide storage laid down in the 'Code of Practice for Suppliers of Pesticides to Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry'. Dangerous Good Awareness Training
Persons whose duties concern the carriage of dangerous goods by road should have received training in the requirements governing the carriage of such goods appropriate to their responsibilities and duties according to chapter 1.3 of ADR. Training requirements specific to security of dangerous goods in chapter 1.10 should also be addressed. The training requirement applies to the following individuals:
Employees of road vehicle operators or consignors
Employees who load or unload dangerous goods
Employees in freight forwarding
Employees in shipping agencies
Drivers of vehicles involved with the carriage of dangerous
goods by road
(other than those holding a vocational certificate in
accordance with 8.2.1 of ADR)
